J. C. Ford, who was injured in Morton’s planing mill a few years since, by having a rivet thrown into his leg by the breaking of a belt, died at his home in this village, after having suffered severely, on Thursday night at about 12 o’clock. The funeral was held from his late residence in this village, at 2 o’clock on Saturday afternoon. The G. A. R. had charge of the services. Mr. Ford was about 61 years of age, and had been a resident of Omro for about thirty years.
I wish to hereby extend my heartfelt thanks to all those in Omro, especially the J. F. Sawyer Post, who assisted me during the illness and at the death and burial of my husband.
MRS. J. C. FORD.
