The last Omro Journal mentioned the death of Miss Effie Pine. One of her brothers resides in this village, and her father is here most of his time. This lady’s ill-fated marriage was wretchedly humiliating, and her departure to the spirit land deeply afflicts those who, with her, made the home circle of her early days. As she entered womanhood, and commenced teaching public school, she received many kind and encouraging words, for their donors knew she was worthy of them all. But a resurrection morning is in reserve, and loved ones will meet again.
