The youngest child of Frank Challoner, about fourteen months old, was taken violently sick at eight o’clock on Monday night, with spinal meningitis. A doctor was summoned, and on Tuesday another doctor from Oshkosh was called, but all to no purpose as the little one was released from its severe suffering, at six o’clock on Tuesday evning, by the grim messenger, who will give us all a call sooner or later.
The funeral will be held at the family residence, at 2 o’clock this afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Challoner have the sympathy of our entire community in this sudden affliction.
