WE learn as we go to press of the death of Mrs. F. W. Drake, which occurred last night, at eleven o’clock. She had been sick for about two weeks, with inflamation (sic) of the bowels. Mr. Drake will have the sympathy of the entire community in this sad affliction.

The body of Mrs. E. W. Drake was taken from the family residence early Saturday morning to the depot, and from thence to Milwaukee, where the funeral and interment took place on Sunday. There was a short service at the residence here on Friday evening. The task of conveying the forms of loved ones to their last resting place is a sad one, but this one seems doubly so. The remains were accompanied by the sorrowing husband, and William Drake and wife, father and mother of E. W. Drake.
