Omro Journal Thursday, August 31, 1882 p. 1 Sudden Death. Mr. O. M. Davis, who has been ailing for nearly four years, breathed his last on Sunday morning at four o’clock. Nearly four years since he began to fail and for nearly two years of that time, he has been unable to do but very little work. On Saturday he seemed to be cheerful and was able to sit up in his chair and seemed to be full as well, if not better than he had been for days. Along in the night he turned over in bed and his wife spoke to him but did not get any answer. On further investigation it was found that he was unconscious. He lingered in this condition until his death which took place as above stated. The probabilities are that he had another sinking spell, something that he was subject to, and did not rally from it. He leaves a wife and one child to mourn his loss. The funeral was attended from the house on Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Rossiter officiating. Notify Administrator about this message?
