MRS. WALKER, nearly eighty years old, who is a relative, and has been living with the family of Christopher Higson, came down town Tuesday afternoon and returned to Mr. Higson’s residence about five o’clock and soon after went to bed. In a short time some member of the household went into the room and noticed that something was wrong with her, as she could not speak but recognized those around her. From this she seemed to go into a sleep and at 11:45 p.m., she breathed her last. A son in Chicago was sent for but he could not come but wished her to have a good burial. The funeral occurs this afternoon at 2 o’clock.
