Hello. I am a direct descendent of Henrietta Thorpe & Richard Howlett. They were my great great grandparents. I am sure we are related. My whole family was from Oshkosh,Wis. I have talked to my mother about finding you and your relatives. She remembers a John Bangs b. 1928-29 from Oshkosh. She has told me that our families have known each other & are probably related through atleast 5 generations. My mother has told me about at Henrietta's funeral, a M. Bangs was the pallbearer. Who was your father,grandfather,gg...etc.? I think your Christie who married Nicholas Bangs, was Henrietta's sister. Henrietta's daughter was named Christabel(maybe after your Christie?!) Maybe Christie full name was Christabel. There is a Howlett Rd. in Oshkosh(Black Wolf)named after my Howlett family and a old school. Would love to get in contact with you.- Liz
