Barbara, you have already taught me more about the Leonard family, than I ever knew before.
I am mostly interested in meeting descendants of William Leonard and his wife Maria Jane Murray. I am a descendant of Maria's sister Bridget. Bridget married Patrick Crain, and they raised a large family in Eldorado.
I know very little about my Murray ancestors, so I am hoping to meet other descendants who can teach me more.
I am part of a very large group researching the Crain family of Eldorado. We had a reunion in Eldorado a couple of years ago and visited the St. Mary's Catholic Mission and Cemetery. It's a very attractive little church that is no longer used for services, however the church and grounds are kept up nicely. They're surrounded by farm country that probably hasn't changed much since our ancestors settled there 150 years ago.
