Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Daniel E. Clark served in the Civil War and was still listed in the 1910 directory of Omro. Write the Oshkosh Public Library, 106 Washington Ave., Oshkosh WI 54901 and ask for a copy of his entry in "Civil War Veterans of Winnebago County" by David Langkau. Send a little money to cover copies and postage. There was an obit for Austin in the Omro Journal, but it gives little info. Only Daniel was mentioned of the kids, because he lived there. But the next week there was mention of Harlow arriving from and returning to his home in Antigo WI. That's in Langlade County, up north. I'll keep my eyes peeled for more info.
