Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
In summer 2011, a RedWing shoe box containing 23 photos and pictures, some in folders, some in frames was found at a campground in Iowa County, Wisconsin. Many of the photos were taken at Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, but a few from other places such as Minneapolis, MN and St. Louis, MO. and some do not indicate photographer. Only two of them had any writing on them: one said J. Peltz and Judy on it, and another which appeared to be about a 1920ís wedding photo(flapper-type dress/hat on woman) said Fred Sidick/Sielick. There are other wedding photos, of 1940ís and 1950ís vintage as well as children and family photos. These were turned in to the Iowa County Historical Society at Dodgeville, WI and can be viewed there.
