Eliza Quirk Casey b Ire 1839>Wisc> Lisbon Wauk Co> City of Milwaukee>died 1908
I believe the following to be true but do not have documentation on the Quirk-Casey marriage: Elizabeth (Eliza) Quirk Casey was born in Coolmoyne, Fethard Parish Co. Tipperary Ireland in 1839. She was the daughter of Thomas Quirk b Cashel Co. Tipperary Ireland in 1802 & Ann Hackett born Ireland 1802 probably in Tipperary around Cashel or Fethard Parish. In the 1840’s traveling in separate groups the Quirk family relocated to the Town of Lisbon Waukesha Co. Wisc. Eliza married Thomas J. Casey Sr. from the Menomonee Falls, Waukesha Co. Wisc area and they had a son Thomas J. Casey Jr. who died in 1916 leaving no living children.Thomas Sr. might have died in the 1880’s.
The following information was provided by the Tipperary Family History Research when research was done on the above mentioned Thomas Quirk and Ann Hackett and their children. “Tipperary Family History Research is the only facility to offer a research service based on access to the Baptismal and Marriage records of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly. The Archdiocese covers most of County Tipperary and part of County Limerick and it contains 46 Parishes. Tipperary Excel Heritage Co. Ltd administers the records on behalf of the Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly and is a non-profit-making organisation and a registered charity.”
