PALMER NY>Waukesha Co.>Sheboygan Co WI
I'm trying to find the connection between my H.J.G. (Havilah J.G.) PALMER born 1810 in New York and the PALMER family who migrated to Waukesha, Wisconsin around 1837 - 1843.
According to "Memoirs of Waukesha County,"John and H.G. PALMER came to New Berlin, Waukesha County, Wisconsin in 1837.
In 1841 H.J.G.PALMER married Sarah HOPKINS, who probably died before 1846. (She is possibly the daughter of Sally HOPKINS who had a land deal with the PALMER's and is listed on the 1850 New Berlin, Waukesha Co., Wisconsin census living a few doors away)
In 1846 H.J.G. PALMER married Mrs. Lydia Louise (WORTH) HUNKINS born circa 1808 in Vermont.
The 1850 Federal Census for New Berlin, Waukesha County, Wisconsin has the following PALMER families:

Does anyone have any information regarding these PALMER families?I know that while in the Waukesha area they bought and sold land amongst themselves and owned a Sash, Door and Blind factory.
