Have you checked out the Bovee family of Eagle, WI. I found an entry in my husband's Sprague family Bible of a Bovee who married a Sprague. I'm told that her father was a brother-in-law of a Benedict Arnold who moved from NY state to Eagle. Although I was also told that this was the Benedict Arnold who was the traiter, it couldn't have been because he was born too late. This Benedict Arnold had been a Senator representing NY prior to moving to Eagle.
