The following is from a newspaper clipping, Fifth Reunion of Vanderpools,August 30,1919.
AN OLD OLD BIBLE: It probably is not generally known by members of the Vanderpool Clan that the Bible of
John Melchert Vanderpool and Isabella Douglas in which with maternal love and pious care she inscribed the date of
her marriage, as well as the names and dates of birth of their six children, is still in existence. This bible in after years
was passed on to their oldest daughter Catherine, who married John Sharp, from which union sprang the Van Buren
branch of the Clan. This Bible later became the property of their eldest daughter, Magdelana, who married William
Patterson, and is now in the possession of their daughter, Sarah, Mrs A.S. Woodward of Geneva, Vernon County,
WIS.

Do anyone out there know of this bible, and if so can I have a copy, including the front page stating where it was
printed. As I am tring to join the SAR and this bible would help me out a lot, as I have a copy of there sons bible
(Abraham).
I am posting this here as the Vanderpool Clan still hold there Reunions in Waukesha County.
Thanks for your time.
Tony Vanderpool, Australia.
