Have you came across any information that might give a clue as to Benj. Franklin Mudget b.March 14,1857-parentage?
It is possible that he is the Franklin Mudget on Waukesha Co;Wisc. 1860 census, son of Ezra Mudgett and Matilda, estimated birthdate is a good match.
Have you found out where Benj. Franklin Mudgett and Adeline Hotelling were married? As Wesley was born in Waukesha, perhaps they were married there, has the record been searched for in Waukesha? If not I could perhaps do so.
Was there any other Mudgett families in the Maple Wood, Otter Tail Co;Minn. area? That might give us a clue.
