I am seeking information or link to my great great grandmother, Mattie (Madeline?) Upshalt/Uphalt or Upholt, perhaps. She would have lived in the Germantown area a short time around 1845-1852 prior to marrying Hiram Scholler and moving to California. My dad was not sure of the spelling on her last name, but she supposedly had come from Germany with her family in the mid 1840's. She married a man she knew in Germany by the name of Kick. When he died, she married his cousin, a Hiram Scholler. Thanks for any information.
