Hello, I really need your help, here's what I have.
James and Thomas Fagan brother's Born County Westmeath, James July 4 1806( Immigrated in 1837)
James married in 1842 Anna Monahan in Orange County New York. children they had Robert,John,James Jr,Thomas, Patrick, Garrett. The Family moved in 1844 to Jackson, Washington County, WI. James was very active in town and state politics.
Thomas Fagan his brother was born in 1814 County Westmeath and came to the US in 1839, Orange County Ny there he married Elizabeth Mary Dunn date unknown. He moved to Jackson/Cedarburg Washington County Wi within a few years of James. Thomas and Elizabeth had for children: Ellen James, Mary, Ann,Patrick,Bridget, John,Thomas Jr, Jane.
One of James son Thomas became a priest near Milwaukee and I have info on some of the other children to.trying to find other decendants and where exactly they came from in Ireland to continue my search. One census shows an older James living with the James and Anna Fagan family, possibly his father from his age he would have been born around 1770. Please please help if you can I am at a dead end... I beleive som eof the family moved to the Miwaukee area in the 1880's
