Coburn Family

Seeking information on the Melvin Coburn family that lived in the Whitewater area around 1875-1880 time period.]
Melvin was 51 as was his wife Roxana. Children (may have been adopted) Iona May, 9 years old at the time and Charles who was 16. Melvin was a teamster, wife stayed at home and Iona May was in school. Charles was working on a farm.

1880 Census provides this information. They soon left for homestead in South Dakota and were there by 1881 in the Watertown area. Mainly interested in adopted children Iona May and Charles and their origins.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
