Dear Mr. Phalin

I,too,am interested in the Aylward's. Julia Aylward Breen was my g-grandmother. She was born in 1850 in Bloomfield,Walworth,WI. In the 1850 Bloomfield,Walworth,WI
Census there is listed an Edward Elward listed with 7 children. I believe this is Julia's father. In that census
Julia is listed as Johanna (a common Irish name for Julia)
an infant. That year's mortality list names a female Elward, whom I believe was Julia's Mother.

As Julia's obit states she was one of eight children. Patrick Aylward, also listed in the 1850 census of Bloomfield,Walwoth,WI, may be that missing brother. I believe Richard Aylward who married Mary Cleary is also Julia's brother. The Aylward Brothers had a business in Solon Mills,Il One or some of them lived in McHenry the city for a time. That is all I know at this time.

P.S. This is also the Richard Aylward, who served five years in the CIvil War. I have copies of his pension records
