My gg-grandfather was Morganthee Pratt. This was my grandmothers grandfather on her mothers side. Morganthee had two children, Sarah Ellen (Sadie) Pratt and my g-grandmother Mae Pratt. Sadie was born in Whitewater, Walworth County July5, 1878. I would think my g-grandmother would've been born there also I'm not sure. Morganthee was married to Anna Colton. His father was Freeman Pratt born in Eaton, NY in 1814. He was married to Melinda Mack, daughter of Levi and Catherine DeMott Mack.He had a brother Norman. Their father was Asaph Pratt and wife Hannah (Harriet) Anderson. His parents were Joseph and Clarissa Morris Pratt.Asaph and his two sons were the first families to establish themselves in Whitewater Wi. Asaph in 1839 became owner of the flour mill and his sons were farmers came in 1837. I have all of this info. but no mention of Morganthee and his girls. I have no real info on my g-grandmother Mae. I got most of the info thru her sister Sadie as she lived to 1964. Mae died young and my mother and her sisters couldn't give me any more info than the Pratt name.Mae Pratt married Carlton Ballou and lived in Buffalo NY where I think my grandmother was born. Any more info on the Pratts, especially Morganthee and family or other Pratts, Macks, etc. would be appreciated.
