Yes, but...

Some vital records are at Viroqua. Check with the Vernon Co. Historical Society.

According to the Handy Book for Genealogists, the Bureau of Vital Statistics, Madison, WI, has birth and death records from 1860. However, I have not been able to find some of mine as late as 1915.

I have the first edition of Vernon Co., WI, Tombstone Inscriptions by Jerry & Mickie Parr and the Vernon Co. HIstorical Society, and I also have a reprint of the History of Vernon Co., 1884.
