I don't think Jefferson would have any help for you, but you could Google "Vernon County Historical Society." That will give you an e-mail address.

Does your line descend from William F. BOND? The 1880 Census shows William F. BOND, 12, & Lovina BOND, 9, with adoptive parents Elias & Eliza SHISLER. The children were born in Iowa, their father in England, mother in Ohio.

History of Vernon Co., 1884, says that Elias SHISLER was born in Perry Co., OH, 12 Feb. 1827; m1. Nancy BARNES, & moved to Allamakee Co., IA, for two years; then to Bad Ax (Vernon) Co., WI. He m2. 5 Nov. 1855, Eliza CONR[O]AD, & m3 _.
Elias had a child {2?} by his first wife, four by his second, and three by his third wife. Amos, a son of the second wife, was the only one living (1884).

Victory Cem., Wheatland, Vernon, WI, SHISLER
Nancy, d. 12 July 1855, aged 29, wf/o E.
Noa, d. 10 Sep. 1854, ten mos.
Sarah E., d. 15 July 1855, 12 days.
Mary E., d. 16 Apr. 1873, aged 23
Sarah d. 20 Sep. 1854, aged 22, wf/o A. J.
Children of E. & E.:
Sarah, d. 15 Aug. 1857, 5 mos.
William G., d. 7 July 1863, 15 mos.
Lovina, d. 5 Aug. 1864, 13 months.

DeSoto, Wheatland, Vernon, WI, 1900, BOND
William F., b. Mar. 1869, IA ENG WI [mother b. Ohio?], m. 6 y.
Millie, b. May 1876, VT MA NY [MA makes three states. MA, VT, or NY for birth of Charles.]
Sons b. WI: Gordie, July 1895; Amos, Mar. 1898.

Check the censuses of 1900 & 1905, available free at FamilySearch.org pilot site for Vernon County. Did you have stepdaughter Lenora HARTLEY, 6 in 1905, for Norris STEARNS? In 1905, Wm. F. BOND's mother was listed as born in Ohio (agrees with 1880, not with 1900), & they added son Neville and two of Mila's brothers to the household.

Mila FORSYTH, 43, was of Mountrail Co., ND, in 1920. In 1920, the census database has Jane, 8, & Jean, 4 y., 4 mos. Ian shows up in 1925, but in 1930, there are Fan, 18, & Jean, 14. Did they transcribe Ian incorrectly in 1920 & 1930?

Mila's last husband might have been Michael "Mike" FLATLA, b. ca. 1880, because he is the only one who shows up in the right censuses of Mountrail, ND, through 1925, and Mila was Mila FLATLA on the 1925 census.

I couldn't quite follow the last part of your message. Is this what you meant?

Mila STEARNS (May 1876, VT - 1958, St. Helens, OR), daughter of Charles K. STEARNS
m1. 1894, William Franklin BOND, and had Gordon, Amos, Neville, and Frank.
Mila m2. after the 1910 census, Walter FORSYTH[E], & had Ian and Jean.
Mila m3. by 1925, [Michael?] FLATLA.
