The 1875 Atlas says:
A. Vanderwall, farmer in section 12, post office Oostburg, nativity Holland, settled 1851, 20 acres (3 miles north of Cedar Grove).
G. H. Kolste, farmer in sections 35 & 36, post office Cedar Grove, nativity Holland, settled 1846, two parcels of 17 & 18 acres (a mile south of Cedar Grove).
Both locations are identified on the Holland township map, page 39.

1889 Plat Book says:
Van De Wall & Huenick, Dealers in General Merchandise, Manufacturers of Full Cream Cheese, Cedar Grove, Section 25.
There is less detail in this map and lacks both Vanderwall and Kolste.

Just in case there might be a connection, in 1875 in section 19 is 80 acres shown belonging to J. Van Derweele, but in 1889 it is identified as John Van der Wheele.
