DART, J. (Joseph, "Jay"), born Sheboygan?

Hello there:

We're have a tough time tracing my wife's paternal grandfather, Jay (possibly actually Joseph) Andrew DART b. 2 Oct 1865 in Wisconsin, possibly in Sheboygan. He was the son of J. and Sarah DART, and the family moved to Taylorville, Illinois around 1867. Jay became a homesteader in North Dakota, married there in 1921, died there in 1935.

Jay had a brother Al or Almon who eventually went to British Columbia, Canada.

We don't know much more than this. Does anyone have any Sheboygan DART information from around the mid 1800s? Anything at all would be greatly appreciated.
