I am wondering if the Martha Erickson in the family listed in 1900 US Census at Hayward, Sawyer County, Wisconsin, could be the Martha (Nelson) Erickson, the daughter of Catherine Nelson, a widow who also lived in Hayward?

Back in 188o the NELSON family was enumerated in the census thusly:

The census data would indicate that John Erickson and wife Martha were married about 1885. On-line marriage listings don't seem to connect a John and Martha!
(In 1910 I found this family - John and Martha Erickson and children in Chicago, Illinois.)
Can anyone help with Martha Erickson's maiden name?
