'Inconnus' is the French word meaning unknown. Learning this has helped me consideralbly with the stress of thinking my ancestors were inbreeding; i.e, Julia Inconnus, Bertha Inconnus, and Florence Inconnus. I thought they were all sisters or cousins at the very least. My source unwittingly copied it thus instead of; Florence(inconnus/unknown)It has cost me time
but nothing more. I'm submitting this to help others from stumbling over the same 'stone'. Now, on with the original task.
