I am looking for information on the following person. Here is what I have:
He was born August Fridiolf Nystrand on 9 March 1896 in Sweden, son of Johan Peter Nystrand and Sara Jansdotter.
Swedish emigration records show he was from Frödinge, emigrated from Göteborg 3 May 1915, bound for New York.
First name: AUGUST FRIDOLF
Last name: NYSTRAND
Age: 19 Gender: M
Parish: FRÖDINGE County: H
Date: 1915 05 03
Destination: NEW YORK
August Fridolf Nystrand, last place of residence "Frodinge, Sweden" arrived in New York on 16 May 1915 on ship Kristianiafjord. He was age 19 and single. Port of departure listed as Bergen.
World war I draft registration:
Fred Nystrand, 3015 N. Sawyer, Chicago, IL. b. 9 Mar 1896, Smoland, Sweden, shipping, partial support of father/mother.
1920 census, Ward 27, Chicago, IL, Fred Nystrand, age 33, born Pa (I believe this is an error - should be Sweden) was listed as "nephew" living in the household of his uncle, Gus Johnson. Fred's occupation listed as"labor" at a dairy.
1930 census, Hawkins Township, Rusk County, Wisconsin:
Fred Nystrand, age 34, age 24 at first marriage, born Sweden, immigrated 1915, dairy farmer
Harry Henson, age 39, born MN, hired man/lodger
Fred Nystrand is listed in the Social Security Death Index, born 9 March 1896 and died Feb. 1985. Last residence listed as Neenah, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. SS# issued before 1951 in Wisconsin. I have found his death date was 3 February 1985 and it appears he died in Waupaca County (not in Neenah, as indicated by the SSDI).
