Elizabeth (Long) Cole's sister, Norilla Long, married William Henderson and lived in Rock Co. Wisconsin, Fulton Twp. Her daughter, Sarah Henderson, was this George Scarcliffe's first wife. The Portrait and Biographical Album of Rock County, Wis. (c)1889, pp. 609. incorrectly gives her name as Sarah Anderson. Two of Sarah's siblings are in the Scarcliff household in 1860:
