Name Joseph C. Carroll
DOB--December 25,1850
Father is listed: Michael W.Carroll
Father is known: Able attorney and schoolteacher and a
Veteran of the Civil War.
Associated with Business Interests: Joseph C. Carrol became head clerk witht he Goodrich Transportation Company working under George W. Scanlon. Later connections withthe Ibing Furniture Company acting as undertaker and business manager.
After the death of Alonzo Glass. He acted as agent for the E.L. Hedstrom Company. After that company closed out he was associated with Charles T. Wright in the lumber business.
Late ran his own business J.C. Carroll Coal Yards and activity ran business til death. Joseph also was interest in real estate and promoted some large transactions. He was considered a man of intergrity and honor and sound judgement.
Marriage: 1885 Joseph married to Miss Catherine Kinney of Racine daughter of Terence and Ellen Kinney. They have one daughter Estella Josephine now a student in the Sacred Heart Academy at Lake Forest,Il having entered the school in 1912.
