Hello Todd, You are right on Evergreen Cemetery.I few years ago bought a book on Mound Cemetery called,"Mound CemeteryWalking Tour Guide." Today looked at it again; Mound Cemetery was bought in 1851 Three Years later Mound Cemetery was established...well out of city limits at that time. Near Winslow the area was a fast growing residental area and Evergreen was near eroding banks of Lake Michigan. Remains according to this small book werereburied at Mound.I well check on these early buriels. Sincerely,Ann PS. The pamplet was a publication of (Preservation Racine),Racine Wisconsin. (1994)
