Looking for connections to this marriage of my Great Grandparents.
Both are buried at the abandoned Big River Cemetery in Pierce County, Wisonsin.
John McKeever was born John Crawford in Glasgow, Lanark Co., Scotland and Isabella McCaughey was born in 1865 in Portglenone, County Antrim, No. Ireland. Isabella first married a John Paul Crawford in Ireland and they had one son, David Paul Crawford. Isabella's husband, John was killed in a railroad accident in Ireland. She left Ireland and went to Quebec, Canada and then on to Pierce County, Wisconsin to visit her sister, Mary Jane McCaughey. Mary Jane McCaughey (Some spell it McCaughan)married William Martin Rasmus in Ellsworth, WI. Then Isabella (widow) Crawford met John McKeever in Pierce County, WI. John McKeever was also a widower having married Margarette Anna Mullen in Ireland. Margarette is also buried at Big River Cemetery in Pierce County, Wisconsin. Isabella & John McKeever married October 1893 in Pierce County, Wisconsin and farmed near Trimbelle. They had 8 children. Isabella died January 4, 1917 in Pierce County, Wisconsin.
