Thanks Tim, It was wishful thinking on our behalf and we were told that Postel is not that uncommon of a name. However, since they both came from Germany and lived in Port Washington I sort of hoped there was more of a connection. My husband's family is difficult to trace. I have traced my family back to the 1500's on many lines, but they all lived in this country for many generations.

So, I thank you and will keep searching for some clue about their families.
