Frank Burton & Virginia Mayo-Maple Creek, Wi to New York.

My Great Uncle may have used Frank Gordon or Louis Gordon or Gordon or Louis Burton. According to his father Louis Bertrands obit of 1922 Frank was living in New York City. Frank & Virginia had a son named Earl.
Frank was b in 1879 in Maple Creek, Outagamie County, Wisconsin. Supposedly Virginia was also born in Maple Creek or some place in Quebec.

I have a photo of Frank in some type of uniform with a money changer around his neck leaning up against a porch rail of what looks like a house with an upstairs apartment.

Family lore says he worked for the Railroad, left home prior to 1900 with a wife in tow, changed his name & was not heard from for a few years. Was also stated he may have spent some time in California.

Can anyone connect to this line or do you know of anyone who might be able to help?

Thank you,
Kathy
