Since posting, I've been in contact with a descendent of Alvin's brother Richard. According to her mother, Alvin (born 1855)was in Rhinelander. According to the transcription done for the USGenWeb Census Project (http://www.us-census.org/ by Susan Swanson) Alvin's wife is named Emilia (born abt 1872). They have three sons: Benjamin (abt 1901), Percil (abt 1903), and Archie (1907). They lived at 1351 Minola St.
Does anyone have information about this family?
