I am searching for a Richard Leigh who was in the Navy in 1944. There is a Richard Leigh, age 11 months, son of Clyde and Myrtle Leigh, on the 1930 census in Oconto County, Wisconsin. If this is the same person, he
obviously lied about his age to get into the Navy--but many did just that.

I have also seen "Richard E. Leigh" on the SSDI who was born 13 May 1929,SS number issued in Wisconsin, and died 27 May 1995 in Minneapolis,Minnesota.

Do you know if the Richard Leigh of Oconto County was in the navy in 1944? I will appreciate any help you can give.
