Hi Terry -- I have to admit I was surprised to hear about the administrative records not having been destroyed at the "Home". Makes you wonder about the possibility of other records surviving, doesn't it? I, too, am not giving up on the whole concept and want to do more digging. I have a feeling the historical folks are probably very sick of those like us bothering them but... too bad.

Sounds like your dad must have been older when he was in the "home" if he remembers stories there. Any you care to share would be very interesting to me.
