Lorenz Victor Wuehr, Milwaukee, WI 1872-?
Posted by: Ellie Depew (ID *****9525) Date: March 15, 2013 at 22:58:17

Lorenz Victor Wuehr was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1872. He married in 1895 and was the father of 6 children before he left his family in 1905. His wife filed papers to divorce him in 1911 on grounds of desertion. The divorce was granted in 1913, after which time he seems to have disappeared completely from public records. He did not register for the WWI draft, nor is he in the 1910, 1920, 1930, or 1940 Census records. Wisconsin death records beginning in 1959 are online, but he is not there, either. Any information that you may have and be willing would be greatly appreciated.
