The thread says Lawrence was born in 1918 in Iowa.
Delbert was born in 1922 in Iowa.
In 1925 the family was in Fort Madison, Lee County, Iowa.

FATHER Ed Workman 57 b Illinois

SON Fred L. Reader age 7 born Iowa
SON Delbert M. Reader age 2 born Iowa
A 1923 passport applicaton gives Fred's name as Fred Thomas Reader born 10 March 1894 in Marden, Kent, England. Fred immigrated in 1916. Says he has two sons Lawrence age 5 and Merl age 1 (the ship's manifest gives this boy's name as Delbert M.)
