I have a tin type photograph of Ella Wampole. Written on the back of the paper frame is "Ella Wampole, a friend of your grandmothers". The grandmother referred to is Maria Leister, my great-grandmother. The lineage is Maria Himmelwright Ziegler married Charles Leister), they had a daughter Irma Ziegler Leister, b. 1889 (married George Engles ), they had a son George Engles, Jr., b. 1917 (married Phyllis Fancher), they had 3 children including Barbara Engles Weil (me). The location would have been Lansdale, PA and Vernfield, PA during that time. Mean anything to you?
