Judy was wondering if he is the Clark her married an Etta. I see that this fellow is at Find a Grave which shows

Clark William Davenport, son of Noah and Lorina Davenport was born June 19, 1866, at Evansville, Wisconsin, and departed this life Nov. 15, 1947, at the St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre, South Dakota, having attained the age of 81 years, 4 months, and 24 days. On Sept. 21, 1896, he was united in marriage to Etta Mae Fenton, and to this union 14 children were born. Three died in infancy. In January 1924, he moved to a ranch near O'Krees, South Dakota, where he resided until about 5 weeks before his death.
The children were: Carl, Charley, Garland, Harold, Lloyd, Floyd, Stanley, Leonard, John, George, and Fern.

familysearch.org has a couple of marriages of children of Noah and Louisa which show her maiden name as BUZZELL/BOSSEL
it also shows Clark W. Davenport in 1935 South Dakota census - he is listed as divorced but 1940 census he is listed as widowed, but Etta is also in 1940 census listed as divorced
