Hi Mark, that will be a tough one. On 1930 in Sheboygan they had Frances, 7, and Edward 3.

In 1942 when John registered for WWII, Lucy was still with him.

Do you have access to the old newspapers at ancestry?

I browsed the Sheboygan paper and found a few odds and ends.
-John was a founding member of the Sheboygan branch of Croatian Fraternal Org.
-Their son, Edward, died in May 1934, age 7 buried in Wildwood cem.
-Saw less mention of them in paper about 1937/38, then a forclosure notice June 1939

Chicago Tribune obit for John d. 12 Dec 1963. No mention of any wife. Survived by dau & son-n-law Nick and Frances Bobick/Babick, grchildren Gary, Gale, Jeffrey. and brother Michael in Yugoslavia.

Didn't see any mention of Lucy Malek in Chicago paper, and I honestly don't know where else to look

Judy
