I always notice my errors after I post. Mary was born 13 Mar. 1918, not 1818.

I found a more census entries. In 1920, Milwaukee, they're listed as KAVITKOWSKI / KWIATKOWSKI: Leonadus, 29, & Bronislawa, 28.

In 1910, that other family is headed by Cosimio J. KWIATKOWSKI and included Rosie DORSZEWSHA.

Could your Wladislaw KWIATKOWSKI be the one, aged six months, of German ethnicity, that arrived at Ellis Island, 17 May 1892, with Jan, 30, & Johanna, 24?

If you can locate them in 1900, the census should show the year of immigration.
