Good News! I have found the marriage certificate to Ferdinand and Christina in Wisconsin: Married in 1852. Christina's maiden name was "Pelke" - Father: John Gotlib and Mother "Frederick August". Also, they list Ferdinand's first name as "John" on the certificate. John Ferdinand was born around 1823...does this ring any bells for anyone? Would like to find out where he was born or when he came into the U.S. as well as his Mother and Father...any help would be appreciated! Jane
