I am looking for information on McMullen's from Rondout & Kingston, Ulster, NY. The main people I am searching for are Joseph Thomas McMullen and his daughter Margaret Jane McMullen (1/21/1857-8/11/1898)
All of the family, except for one brother, Andrew (1835-1900), moved from Ulster, NY to Tomah, Monroe, Wisconsin. The family consisted of:
Mother, Margaret (1803-1872) * Spouse may be Brice/Bryce McMullen who may have died in Ireland before 1847*
Children: (All born in ..., Down, Ireland)
Alexander (6/29/1824-11/15/1891)
Robert (7/10/1825-1/9/1907) *Date of birth may be 1838*
Sarah (8/1828-7/4/1911)
William (3/18/1829-4/1/1899)
Joseph Thomas 12/681833-3/29/1878)
John (born abt. 1830-1834)
Andrew (born abt. 1835-1838 & died before 1900) *Remained in Kingston, Ulster, NY.*
Two of the brothers married Finley sisters. William married Martha Finley and Thomas Joseph married Mary Jane Finley.
Other names associated with this family are: Rowan, True & Winkelmann. I don't know if they were from Rondout, Ulster, NY or from Tomah, Monroe, Wisconsin. Most of them were also born in Ireland though.
Any idea of where to find records that are searchable, would be greatly appreciated.
