I have information from a pension paper and an obituary that Marie Kufner was born in Milwaukie, WI on June 18, 1857, yet when I paid for a vital records search by the state of Wisconsin, they returned a letter stating that they had searched all records prior to 1907 and found NO RECORD of a birth document for her.
Marie's mother and father lived in Fairbault, Minnesota and that is why I have also posted a similar message there.
I am also currently searching for a birth or baptism record for Vincent Pietrok and believe that he was from Furstlich Neudorf, Silesia. The family was German and Catholic.
