Bailey/Biley is an unusual name.

I am thinking that this Biley/Bailey is connected to the BASHFORDS in Columbia County, New York. This is what I am trying to figure out.

James BASHFORD born @1790 in Columbia County (married to Maria SNYDER) had 10 children, one of which was Biley J. born 1825 in Columbia County.

This Biley married 1st Magdeline Elizabeth SHUFELT and 2nd, Elizabeth BOICE.

I've also come across some information stating that a James BASHFORD born @ 1752 came to America from Holland about 1770.

This James supposedly had children:

George, Bayley (sic), Abigail, Phebe, Martha, Polly and Nancy.

I've located a George BASHFORD born @1796 in Columbia COunty, New york who wound up in Dane County, Wisconsin.

I am collecting all the census records on all these guys in an effort to see the connection if there is one.

This all started because I am trying to locate the parents/siblings of Sarah Ann BASHFORD born @1827 in New York who married a William OSTRANDER.

William OSTRANDER shows up in that 1855 Winnebago County, Wisconsin census on the same page as the previously mentoned Henry and Biley.
