Moore Family of Mineral Point, Wis - orig from NY

Just FYI.

Researching Moore family from upstate New York (Plattsburg), I discovered one branch moved to Mineral Point.

Charles C. (came from a large family) who ran a drugstore
in Plattsburgh, NY (Purdy & Moore) with Nelson Purdy. Seems Charles removed to Freeport, ILL in 1855 and then later to Mineral Point, Iowa County, Wisconsin, where he died, age 62. (Supposedly ancestors were Wm. Moore and Mary Palmer of Stonington, CT.)
