Hello, England! I am a tad confused. I have the 1900 census image. It shows, Fanny born Aug 1865 Children with John, Ernest A. Clara M. And, Victor C. born June 1894. Whomever answered the door said she immigrated in 1885 (I don't mind a year here or there). Her husband John's parents were also of England so ... his mystery might be close to home. The 1910 census shows the same children but this time Fanny immigrated 1887. 1920 shows 1886. All of the children are still at home. 1930 shows 1885. Clara M. is the only one still at home. I am showing potentially John Holmes born 1855 Wisconsin, son of William (b abt 1813) and Anna (b abt 1820) both of England. This from the 1880 census. In the 1860 census however I show Hannah but the age it the same. They had a daughter Ann 12 born in ENG. In 1870 Hannah is shown again. Victor Holmes was born Jan 29, 1894 per his WWI (World War I) draft card. Ernest A. was born August 24, 1891. I imagine you would have to track down Fanny's death certificate ... I don't have a death date. You might take the information I gave you, summarize and repost, looking for Walworth County deaths, or ... Hope this helps, a little. If you had to, you could track down Ernest and Vincent, find their death dates and obituaries, find living relatives through those, contact, figure out. Good luck. I am not related, just a friendly volunteer. Notify Administrator about this message?
