Richard Evans died in Oshkosh in Feb 1883, body shipped back to shawano co. for burial (old newspapers)
The family was there in 1880. Richard had a brother, John living there.
Son, Arthur, never married
dau, Ella, married James Merriam (prob. no children)
son, William, mar. Birdie ? 5 girls, 1 boy (Roy 1906)
son, Archie on WWI draft reg, days he is in Alberta Canada.nearest relative, Ella Merriam
Richard's wife, Mary J. died 1906. I suspect her maiden name was Ford, as on 2 census there is a Edward Ford, uncle, living with the sons, William(1900) or Arthur(1905). When widowed mother, Mary was living with them.
