Hi Michele,
According to 1900 census. Frederick and Barbara didn't come to US until 1861. Best guess for information of their time in Wi. find the church they would have attended.
Charles and Christiana (assuming twins. b. 1869 Wi)

In 1870, Batavia, Mich. there was a Barbara Kraig, 69, wid., with them... possible Barbara's mother?

1900 Batavia, they have granddaughter, Barbara Kent, 3, b.July 1896, Mi.
